He currently serves in his third term on the Orange County Membership Mission and Review Board, helping recruit volunteers who serve on important advisory boards throughout the county.

Endorsements

Congressman Cory Mills’ endorsement signals strong leadership alignment, showing that Randy Ross is supported by leaders who are committed to protecting communities, strengthening the economy, and standing up for Central Florida families

“Endorsed by Belle Isle Commissioner Holly Bobrowski — trusted local leadership supporting Randy Ross for Orange County Commission District 3.”

I've lived in Orange County since 1981. And I love living here.  As with any growing community, there are issues that arise that affect us all. It is important to me that we have competent leaders at the County level. Over the years I have watched Randy Ross work to improve the lives of Orange county residents. Whether the issue is homelessness, domestic violence,  elder care, or food insecurity, I have seen Randy take the lead in bringing people together to find solutions. He listens and pays attention. He has the unique ability to unite folks to a common cause and get results. It's all about communication and collaboration. And that's why I support Randy Ross for Orange County Commission District 3.

I’ve known Randy Ross for over a decade. He understands community and how small businesses make Orange County thrive. I especially appreciate he knows how to bring all walks of life together to accomplish meaningful goals. I also applaud his appreciation, as an avid art collector, for Arts and Culture in Orange County.

He has my full endorsement because he believes we’re better when we work together.

I am proud to endorse Randy Ross for Orange County Commissioner District 3.

I have known and worked with Randy for more than a decade, and from Wall Street to Orange County, I have met only a handful of people who possess the same passion, drive, and commitment to community that he does. Randy understands the value of the arts, not just culturally, but economically and I have no doubt he will work tirelessly to ensure every available opportunity for our arts community is pursued and secured.

As a senior myself, I also deeply appreciate the work Randy has done, and will continue to do, advocating for seniors in our community. His compassion and sense of responsibility for those who truly need a hands up, along with appreciation of Veterans, stands out.

When Randy calls, I jokingly refer to him as the “Omazing One.” But the truth is, Randy Ross has a servant’s heart that most people may never fully see and that is exactly the kind of leadership Orange County needs. It’s the kind of compassion we all hope for in our elected officials.

I am proud to endorse Randy Ross for Orange County District 3 Commissioner. Randy always has a vision and the ability to find a solution to the challenges facing our constantly evolving community. His leadership brings people together and focuses on practical, results-driven solutions.

Randy’s strong ability to engage the community and work with stakeholders at every level—from local neighborhoods up to our federal partners. One of his greatest strengths is his willingness to listen carefully and ask the right questions, which helps move complex issues toward meaningful solutions. Our Community along with all of our First Responders need strong practical leaders that will collaborate and support all of their responsibilities and duties. Randy consistently demonstrates thoughtful problem-solving strategies in business and I am confident District 3 will absolutely benefit from Randy’s strong leadership skills and abilities.

ENDORSEMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

I’m truly humbled and honored to receive the endorsement of District 3 resident, trusted Registered Nurse, and Senior Care Advocate, Jan Ellis.

Jan isn’t just a respected voice in our community … she’s someone who has personally impacted my life in a profound way.

Many may not know this, but during the early stages of my mom’s dementia journey, Jan stepped in with both honesty and compassion. She didn’t sugarcoat the reality, but she walked me through it. She educated me. She prepared me. And she helped me begin to understand what so many families across Orange County are facing every single day.

Her guidance didn’t just help me as a son… it helped shape how I view senior care in our community.

Her endorsement means more than support for a campaign … it’s a recognition that I listened, that I learned, and that I’m committed to doing better for our seniors and their families in District 3 and all of Orange County.

Because let’s be honest … simply telling families to “call 211” is not a solution. It’s a starting point at best. We must build a system that is more responsive, more compassionate, and truly meets people where they are in some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Senior care is not just policy … it’s personal.

Jan, thank you for your trust, your friendship, and your leadership. You are deeply appreciated.

ENDORSEMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

It is with great honor and deep appreciation that I formally announce the endorsement of my campaign for Orange County Commissioner, District 3 (nonpartisan) by ONYX Magazine.

For more than a quarter century, ONYX Magazine has stood as a premier publication celebrating excellence, elevating voices, and fostering meaningful dialogue across Florida and beyond. Since its founding in 1997, ONYX has remained steadfast in its mission to inform, inspire, and empower, particularly within vulnerable communities, while building bridges that unite diverse cultures through shared understanding and opportunity.

Through signature initiatives such as Women on the Move, Men of Honor, ONYX Business Connect, and the ONYX Awards, the organization has consistently recognized leadership, advanced economic opportunity, and amplified the contributions of individuals who strengthen our communities. The ONYX Foundation further extends this impact through its commitment to literacy, the arts, and financial empowerment.

This endorsement represents more than support … it reflects a recognition of a shared commitment to inclusive leadership, community engagement, and meaningful action.

Early in my time and career in Orange County, I was proud to launch the Inner City Games Health & Fitness Expo in partnership with the City of Orlando, eventually expanding to all of Orange County Public Schools, working directly with Title I schools such as Rock Lake Elementary, Washington Shores Elementary, and Pine Hills Elementary to name a few. Engaging with 4th and 5th grade students across our community reinforced a core belief I carry to this day: every child, regardless of zip code, deserves access to health/wellness, opportunity, and a pathway to succeed.

I am especially encouraged by our alignment in several critical areas:

• Strengthening Senior Services — ensuring dignity, access, and quality of life for our aging population

• Promoting Safe, Thriving Communities … where families can grow, succeed, and feel secure

• Expanding Opportunity Through Unity … lifting voices, fostering collaboration, and creating pathways for success across all communities

ONYX Magazine has long been a beacon of inspiration … highlighting the very best of who we are and who we can become together. I am grateful for their trust and honored to stand alongside an organization so deeply committed to progress and empowerment.

With more than 33 years of experience bringing people together in Orange County, I am ready to lead on Day One … focused on solutions, collaboration, and delivering results for all residents of Orange County District 3.

Together, we move forward.

Your Opinion Matters

Hoffner Avenue is a critical corridor for residents, families, and students, yet many sections lack safe and complete sidewalks. No one should have to walk in grass or dangerously close to traffic just to reach school, a bus stop, or a local business. Improving Hoffner Avenue with proper sidewalks and safer pedestrian infrastructure will protect residents and create a more connected, walkable community for District 3.

As a mother, nothing matters more than knowing that when your child or family member needs care, you can find help quickly and without confusion. Too many families struggle to locate the right doctor, schedule appointments, or access prescriptions when time matters most. By creating a free Orange County medical directory app that helps residents find providers, schedule appointments, and access prescriptions, we can make healthcare simpler, faster, and more accessible for every family in our community.
